St. Cloud: Riverside |
Riverside is the first permanent course in St. Cloud. It's a great course! Cut grass, well designs fairways etc. It is crowed, especially on Friday evening; BE PREPARE TO WAIT. I love this course but it has a big mix of players... Pros, college, and young children... those who think the game is a race and those who think it's the World Championship... lots of newbies throwing before the hole is cleared [hopefully with education we can fix this problem]. Anyway... during the day is one of the best course anywhere but beware of crowds in the evening.
Tee Pads: Concrete - 1 per hole
Holes: 18 Mach 3 - Short: 7 Medium: 4 Long: 7
Riverside has on average 3 pin positions on each hole, short, long, and tournament. When the holes are all short it plays well for even children but still presents a challenge for the pros. In tournament position it rivals most any course in the world for pro play but can be a challenge for the recreational player. The fairways are quite fair [rewarding good shots while punishing bad shots].
Course Established: 1985
